Special Events

One spray, perfectly timed, so guests stay outside all night.

Weddings, backyard parties, graduations, and other one-off gatherings, treated ahead of time so nobody's fighting bugs instead of enjoying the event.

TL;DR

Event spraying is a single barrier treatment timed 24–48 hours before your event date — not a seasonal program, just one precisely-timed visit. Book at least 3–5 days ahead where possible, since the treatment window is tight and popular weekends fill up fast in peak season.

Built Around Your Date, Not a Recurring Schedule

Event spraying is a different problem than season-long residential coverage: you don't need protection all summer, you need it to peak on one specific day. That means timing matters more than anything else — treat too early and the effect has faded by your event, too late and the product hasn't fully settled.

We time event treatments 24–48 hours before your date for the strongest effect on the day itself, covering the yard, patio, or tented area where guests will actually be. It's the same barrier spray mechanism used in residential programs — foliage, fence lines, resting sites — sized and timed for a single occasion instead of a season.

Who This Is For

  • Weddings and receptions — backyard, tented, or venue ceremonies where guests are outside for hours.
  • Backyard parties and BBQs — birthdays, graduations, family gatherings, retirement parties.
  • Corporate and community events — outdoor staff events, fundraisers, block parties.
  • One-off outdoor gatherings of any kind where you need the yard usable for a single day, not the whole season.

How It Works

  1. Book ahead: ideally 3–5 days before your event, especially in peak season when weekends fill up fast.
  2. We time the spray: treatment is scheduled 24–48 hours before your event date for the strongest effect on the day itself.
  3. Full coverage: barrier spray applied to the yard, patio, tent perimeter, and any shaded resting sites nearby.
  4. Set up after it dries: the product dries in about 30 minutes — rental furniture, decor, and tents can go up afterward on a dry, treated surface.

How Much Does Event Spraying Cost?

Pricing depends on the size of the area being treated (a backyard versus a larger venue property) and how far in advance you're booking. We don't quote a flat rate sight-unseen — tell us about your event and property and we'll give you a real number before you commit to anything.

Is It Safe Around Guests, Food, and Decor?

Yes. We use EPA/PMRA (Health Canada Pest Management Regulatory Agency) registered products, and the treatment dries within about 30 minutes with no meaningful residue or odour afterward. We recommend scheduling treatment before rental furniture, tenting, or decor setup so those go up on an already-dry surface — ask your technician about specific timing if your setup crew arrives the same day.

Frequently Asked Questions — Event Mosquito Spraying

How far in advance should I book event spraying?

Book at least 3–5 days out when possible. The treatment itself is timed to 24–48 hours before your event for the strongest effect, but popular weekends fill up fast in peak season, so earlier booking gives you a better shot at your date.

Will the spray smell or leave residue on furniture and decor?

The product dries within about 30 minutes, after which there's no meaningful residue or odour. We recommend scheduling the treatment before you set up rental furniture, tents, or decor so setup happens on a dry, treated surface.

What if it rains before my event?

Heavy rain shortly after treatment can reduce how long it holds. If that happens before your event, contact us — depending on timing we may be able to arrange a touch-up.

Can you treat a rented venue or a backyard we don't own?

Yes, as long as you have the property owner's or venue's permission to have it treated. Let us know it's a rented or venue property when you book.

Do you offer short-notice or same-week booking?

We try to accommodate short-notice requests, especially outside of the busiest summer weekends, but availability isn't guaranteed. Call rather than email if your event is coming up fast.

Does one treatment cover the whole event, or do I need multiple visits?

A single treatment, timed correctly, covers a one-day event. Multi-day events or events with more than a few days between setup and the actual date may need a touch-up — ask when you book.
